There is not a lot of garden space in the city. Yesterday I talked to Caroline, who said that she had been on the wait list for a Cambridge community garden for many years. Here at Henry Street Farms, we grow food in containers on the driveway. We have so many plants this year that I asked the neighbors if I could put some on their side. I added some flowers so that it looks nicer for them.
I have a LOT of extra Hubbard squash plants, but no space for them. If nobody takes them, I will feed them to the chickens.
